Introduction |
||||||||||||||
This page lists the works of W.B. Henning, an outstanding philologist of Iranian languages, that bear on the history of the Türkic peoples. W.B. Henning was exploring Indo-European subjects, and in doing that continuously stumbled on traces of Türkic peoples that fit into Indo-European paradigm as deer antlers on a jackalope. The objective of the posting is not to delve into philological mechanics, but illuminate that many subjects still used by IE proponents as axiomatic truth have already been shown as false, misnomers, and refuted. The summary of observations of the honest scholar: 1. Alphabetic form of Chinese “Xiongnu”
匈奴 is Huns. A true English translation of Chinese annals should use Huns
for 匈奴. |
