Siyavushids

The reign of Siyavushids, who came to power 980 years before Alexander the Great, i.e in the 1300 BC, is known from the 13th c. BC as founders of Bukhara (from vihara  "monastery" in Sanskrit). Siyavushids must have had a secret of staying power, for the next we hear about them is in the 3rd c. BC as the founders of the Parthian kingdom, which grew to become the Parthian Empire.
